Booking Terms and Conditions – Bahama Bay

  1. Making a booking: When you make a booking you undertake that you have the authority to accept these booking conditions on behalf of everyone travelling with you. A contract will exist as soon as a deposit has been received. This contract is made on the basis of these conditions, which are governed by English Law and the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
  2. Confirmation:  We will issue your Reservation Information (Welcome Pack) via email within 5-10 working days after a deposit has been received. Please note if this hasn’t been received within 5-10 working days it is your responsibility to inform us so it can be reissued. This contains a confirmation number which you cannot check in without.
  3. Price: We reserve the right to change the price of your arrangements from those shown on our website at any time before a booking is made. When you make a booking you must pay a non refundable deposit of 20% of the full rate per booking. The balance of the price must be paid at check-in upon your arrival at the resort. If the deposit and /or balance is not paid on time we shall cancel your booking. If the balance is not paid on time we shall retain your deposit and you will not be granted entry to the apartment. The price of your arrangements will be quoted at the time of booking and shown on your invoice. Please note rates quoted are per property & not per person.

    Please note that a cleaning fee of $65 + tax will be charged to you upon check-in.
  4. Check In/Out and further information: Bahama Bay Resort check-in time is 4:00PM, with a check-out time of 10:00AM. These times allow housekeeping to clean the apartment ready for our next guest. Please note that checking out later that 10am, without prior arrangement may result in you being charged for an extra night. If you will be arriving late to the resort please let us know so we can inform our management company. Failure to do so may result in the booking being seen as a ‘no-show’.

    The resort requires a $200 security deposit placed against a valid credit card. A credit card imprint will be taken at the time of your check-in to the resort to cover any possible damage charges, and other incidentals. The credit card holder must be the primary guest on the Reservation Form. The lead guest on the booking must be at least 21 years of age at the time of check-in.

    Each home has a private telephone, which is not connected to the central switchboard. Local calls have a switchboard connection charge, and all long distance calls will be charged to your credit card supplied at check in.

    An authorized employee or repairman may enter the apartment during customary business hours for any purpose connected with the repair, improvement, care, and management of the premises. The guest’s permission will be sought prior to entry.
  5. If you change your booking: If, after our confirmation has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, we will do our best to make these changes but it may not always be possible. Any request for a change must be made by the person who originated the booking. There will be an administration charge of £25 plus any additional costs which we may incur in making the change.
  6. If you cancel your booking: You may cancel your booking at any time. The person who made the booking must write to confirm the cancellation and since we incur costs from the moment of booking, you will have to forfeit your deposit.  Your deposit is non refundable.  If you have arranged travel insurance, the charges may be recoverable from the insurance company.
  7. If we change your booking: We make plans many months ahead of your booking and although unlikely, it is possible we may have to make changes occasionally and we reserve the right to do so. Most of these will be minor and we will advise you as soon as possible.
  8. Complaints: If you have a problem during your holiday please inform the resort management company and contact us immediately if things are not put right. We do not accept any liability for injury, damage or loss caused by any reason or for any claim made as a result of this booking and/or your subsequent holiday. This waiver applies to all guests included on the booking and to any person visiting the property as your guest.
  9. Website Content: The images contained within our site are for illustrational purposes only and actual home interiors may differ from images shown. Stated distances and time estimates to parks may differ slightly from those quoted depending on varying factors. Our website represents individually owned Bahama Bay condominiums and is in no way an official representative of the Bahama Bay Resort.
  10. Payment by Credit Card:  Because of the fees imposed on us by credit card companies, and in order to maintain our highly competitive prices, we have had no option but to try and recover part of the extra costs incurred when accepting credit card payments.  We will charge a fee of 2% on all credit card payments in respect of deposits and bookings paid in full at the time of booking.  This additional charge can be avoided by making the payment of your balance by debit card or cheque.
