Fishing At Bahama Bay and the Florida keys
The fishing at Bahama Bay can be very good, with a few different varieties of fish, none that the UK angler is used to catching.
Most common are the Sunfish ie Blue Gills and Crappies (great name). These fish are great for the kids and put up a hard fight for their size. They are easily caught on a variety of baits from bacon, ham, bread, sausages (hot dog) worms (night crawlers), small spinners or jigs, or sweet corn. Most of the time I find very close to, or under the dock, just off the bottom works best.
If anybody has any pictures or stories about the fishing they would like to be placed on this page, please email me at gary@bahama-bay.co.uk.
